College Football: Yellow Jackets wrap up season with win over Azusa Pacific

Hardrockers knock off Fort Lewis College

SPEARFISH, S.D. – Black Hills State wrapped up the college football season on Saturday with a win at home over Azusa Pacific University, 19-7.

Payten Gilmore rushed for three touchdowns for the Yellow Jackets.

Black Hills State finishes the year with a 3-8 overall record and 2-8 in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference.

 

SD Mines 27, Fort Lewis College 17

The South Dakota School of Mines also closed out the college football season with a win over Fort Lewis College, 27-17.

Junior running back Ahmad Lewis rushed for 119 yards and two touchdowns.

Lewis broke the SD Mines season rushing record with 1,385 rushing yards. The old record was held by Jim Guthrie who had 1,314 in 1977.

The Hardrockers wrap up the year with a 2-8 record in the RMAC Conference and 3-8 overall.
