College Football Photos and Highlights: BHSU blows 21-point lead, Hardrockers fall to Orediggers
SPEARFISH, S.D. – Black Hills State returned home on Saturday to face Western Colorado.
The Yellow Jackets jumped out to a 21 point lead in the second quarter.
Unfortunately, Western Colorado outscored BH 28 and 6 and the Mountaineers defeated the Yellow Jackets, 28-27.
Black Hills State has now lost its last two games by a total of three points.
Cameron Goods led the Yellow Jackets on the ground, rushing 11 times for 97 yards and a touchdown.
Black Hills State falls to 3-2 in the RMAC Conference and 5-2 overall.
The Yellow Jackets travel to Golden, Colorado to play the Colorado School of Mines on Saturday, Oct. 22.
Colorado School of Mines 48, South Dakota Mines 20
RAPID CITY, S.D. – Colorado School of Mines came out firing on all cylinders on Saturday and the Orediggers defeated South Dakota Mines, 48-20.
After falling behind, 14-0, the Hardrockers finally answered with a 4-yard touchdown pass from Jayden Johannsen to Isaiah Eastman.
Overall, Johannsen passed for 263 yards and two touchdowns. He also had a 16-yard touchdown run.
South Dakota Mines is now 4-3 overall and 3-2 in the RMAC Conference.
Colorado School of Mines improves to 5-0 in the RMAC and 5-2 overall.
