College Football: Chadron State tops SD Mines for the second time this season

RAPID CITY, S.D. – The South Dakota Mines football team returned home on Saturday for a rematch against the Chadron State Eagles.

The Hardrockers played Chadron State back on Oct. 17 and lost to the Eagles, 41-25.

So the Hardrockers were hoping for a different outcome this time around at O’Harra Stadium.

Unfortunately, the Eagles knocked off the Hardrockers on Saturday, 37-22.

Chadron State only led 9-3 at halftime.

But the Eagles scored 28 points in the second half.

Christopher Busby and Jalen Starks each scored two rushing touchdowns for Chadron.

Meanwhile, Spencer Zur passed for 174 yards and two touchdowns for South Dakota Mines.

The Hardrockers fall to 2-2 on the season.
