College Basketball: Lady Hardrockers open the season with win over Waldorf

Lady Yellow Jackets improve to 2-0 on the season with a win over Texas A&M International

RAPID CITY, S.D. – The South Dakota School of Mines women’s basketball team opened the season on Saturday with a win over Waldorf University, 80-52.

Sami Steffeck led the Hardrockers with 13 points followed by Anna Haugen who added 10 points and 11 rebounds.

The Lady Hardrockers will travel to Billings, MT on Saturday, Nov. 16 to take on Montana State – Billings. Then the Rockers will return home on Thursday, Nov. 21 to face Wayne State College.
