Cobblers and Raiders hire new coaches for girls basketball and competitive cheer

RAPID CITY, S.D. – Rapid City Central has hired Allan Bertram as the next head girls basketball coach for the Cobblers pending school board approval.

Coach Bertram has been coaching basketball for over 20 years.

He was a head basketball coach at Andes Central, Todd County and spent the last 12 years at Chamberlain.

During that time, his teams won eight conference championships, seven district titles and made four trips to the State ‘A’ basketball tournament.

Allan Bertram has been named the head girls basketball coach at Rapid City Central.

For the past six years, Bertram has been the director for the Sacred Hoops basketball program.

Bertram replaces Kraig Blomme who resigned in May after 20 seasons as the head coach.

 

 

Jamiee Exner

Stevens Cheer Coach

Jamiee Exner has been promoted to the head competitive cheer coach at Rapid City Stevens.

The Rapid City Stevens Activities Office has recommended Jamiee Exner as the next head coach for the Raiders competitive cheer program.

Exner previously served as an assistant competitive cheer coach at Stevens.

Plus, she led the winter sideline cheer team to the 2019 Class ‘AA’ Spirit of Six Award at the state basketball tournament.

Exner will replace Kallie Gebhard.
