Coats for Kids kicks off Wednesday

RAPID CITY, S.D. — With snow right around the corner the Salvation Army has made it their mission to make sure kids are properly dressed for the cold.

Coats for Kids will being going on through Thursday October 10 and they will be providing 1,500 brand new coats to children in Rapid City area. Kids in kindergarten through grade 12 are eligible.

You can come out between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. both days to the Cherry Street location, but know the coats are handed out on a first come first serve basis.
