CMN 2020 Great Black Hills Duck Race cancelled due to COVID-19

Along with many other cancellations due to the covid-19 pandemic, Monument Health Foundation is canceling this year's Great Black Hills Duck Race that benefits Children's Miracle Network ...

For the last 30 years, the Great Black Hills Duck Race has been a signature event for CMN — held the end of July.

Planning was underway to make this the final year for the Duck Race so that CMN can focus on other projects.

The tough call to cancel this year was based on the best interest of the caregivers, patients and community members and partners, so that everyone can focus on their health.

Shawn Powers, Program Manager for Children’s Miracle Network, says, “This decision does not change our mission of improving kids health in our community we will keep moving forward and doing everything we can to raise funds to supports the areas within our hospitals our youngest more vulnerable patients. And there are still ways to give to the Children’s Miracle Network Program at Monument Health.”

Supporters can look forward to CMN Mediathon the end of June- which NewsCenter1 will be a part of.
