Club for Boys holds annual Christmas tree sale

RAPID CITY, S.D. — If you’re looking for a live Christmas tree this year, the Club for Boys in Rapid City has you covered.

They began setting up their lot on Monday, and the annual sale is one of the biggest fundraisers for the club and also gives the boys some job training.

The club is also taking precautions to keep shoppers safe while looking for the perfect tree.

“We’re doing some different things to try and help make sure people are safe,” said Assistant Executive Director for the Club for Boys, Mark Kline. “For example our tree sellers will have a gator to pull up over their face when people come to help. We’ll ask all of our costumers to please practice social distancing while looking for trees. We’re even offering a delivery deal this year, that if you’d rather not come down but you still want to help the club out and buy a tree from us, we’ll wrap one up and bring it to your house.”

If you need help getting your tree home, there’s a $10 delivery fee.

Trees will be sold at both the Club for Boys on Fourth Street and at its thrift store on Cambell Street.
