City of Lead: Do not travel unless there is an emergency

LEAD, S.D. — The City of Lead is advising the public to not travel unless there is an emergency.

They say crews cannot do their jobs and tend to the streets with the numerous accidents they are tending to.

With the high winds and blowing snow, roads have become extremely slippery with no visibility.

Crews are unable to keep up with the conditions but will continue to work hard throughout the day to get the streets cleared and safe.
