Cheer on Rowan Grace at this upcoming watch party!

The Park 3RAPID CITY, S.D.– With the next session of the Live Performance rounds coming up on “The Voice,” One Rapid City establishment is opening its doors November 21 for the public to come out and cheer on Rowan Grace when she takes the stage.

Beginning at 6:00, the public is invited to The Park at 707 Mountain View Road for a special viewing of the show. Host Brandi Schutz explained about the requirements for the event.

Who is Brandi Schutz?

Aside from the host of the event, Schutz is the Owner, Manager, and CEO of The Workout Warehouse in Rapid City. In a competition two years back, she served on a panel of judges for a local talent competition and has seen Rowan perform, recalling her passion and talent.

“I knew she had some very raw talent. I’ve never seen a young girl draw in the energy like she can with her body and with her emotions when she sings,” Schutz explained. “So I knew even at a very young age that she was going to be a really huge talent.”

Where is the watch party?

The watch party will be in the 707 Nightlife space at The Park. The Park is a new facility in Rapid City’s Baken Park shopping area that features a restaurant, casino, and nightlife scene. As an added measure, she is asking people to do the following:

  • avoid wearing white, stripes, or any busy colors and patterns
  • avoid any visible logos on clothing or hats during the taping
  • cover up any visible tattoos

Who is invited?

The watch party is open to the entire community, including children. The event is free to all in attendance, with Schutz hoping to get as many people to come out and support Rowan in the next part of the competition.

Schutz will also be accepting donations to help with any costs for the family as Rowan continues in the competition.

Will it be filmed?

Yes. Filming will begin at 6:30, Schutz says. Waivers will need to be signed for permission to be on camera, since this is being filmed for a spot on national television. She also is encouraging everyone attending to make signs in support of Rowan Grace.

“Bring your young people, make some signs for Rowan. Let’s show them what South Dakota is all about. Let’s show them what we do here greatly. She’s our hometown girl.”
