Check out these Rapid City High school students getting a trim after participating in No Shave November
RAPID CITY, S.D. – Throughout the month of November, eight students from Rapid City High School and their student counselor decided to not shave for the entire month.
Why did the students participate?
“Just thought it’d be a fun idea for the students, for myself, just for everyone to get together, without that friendly competition. Genetics unfortunately play a part in that. So can’t really control who wins or loses. Just to get everyone together and have some fun,” said Blake Addison, student counselor for Rapid City High School.
After the students got trimmed up, they awarded the student that grew the most with a medal.
They got their trim from 6Throne Barber Shop in Downtown Rapid City.
“My mom actually works at the school as well. And she brought to my attention that the counselor was doing something for the kids. And I think not only just kids, but everyone in general. I think that’s their time to really try to grow their beard out. That’s what they’re going to do” said Dominique Coucas, Owner of 6Throne.
