Check out the Rapid City Rush’s 5th annual School Day Game

School Day Game 3RAPID CITY, S.D.– The ice arena at The Monument packed Wednesday with some of the Rush’s youngest fans. This was the 5th annual Rush School Day Game, the puck dropping at 10:35 a.m. against the Toledo Walleye. The Rush sent out tickets to local schools so kids can see a game free of charge.

And the day is more than just the game, a few lessons were involved. Rush Director of Group Sales Aaron Foss says, “Rather than like, you know, take them out of school and just have fun. We want to make sure it’s educational. So we’ve got a lot of things set up with like the CSD sign language class and the Journey Museum and just make it more informational.”

The school day game was made possible through a partnership with Black Hills Energy.
