A Japanese telescope camera captured this glowing spiral in the sky over Hawaii.
Researchers for the Subaru telescope noted on Twitter it seems to be related to the recent launch of a new Space-X Satellite.
One expert says this usually occurs when part of a satellite dumps fuel or generates a trail of exhaust while rotating.
Similar events have been previously spotted, including shortly after a California Falcon 9 launch last year.
