Basketball Roundup: Cobblers defeat Watertown to advance to State ‘AA’ Tournament

RAPID CITY, S.D. – The Rapid City Central Cobblers are heading to the State ‘AA’ girls basketball tournament after a convincing win over Watertown on Friday in the SoDak 16.

The Cobblers defeated the Arrows by a final score of 56-20.

Sadie Glade led Central with 18 points followed by Amarae Rinto and Aaliyah Jones with eight points each.

Central is the No. 5 seed in the state tournament.

The Cobblers will battle Rapid City Stevens in the first round on Thursday, Mar. 10 at 1:45 p.m. at the Monument in Rapid City.
