Boys Hockey: Thunder extend winning streak to eight
RAPID CITY, S.D. – The Rushmore Thunder boys hockey team played the Watertown Lakers on Saturday at the Rushmore Plaza Civic Center as part of “Hockey day in South Dakota.”
Rushmore extended its winning streak to eight games as the Thunder knocked off the Lakers, 4-2.
The Thunder were led by Seth Stock who finished with one goal and one assist. Blake DeVries and Alec Humke also scored for the Thunder.
Rushmore is now 8-4 on the year with six games remaining in the regular season.
The Thunder will host the Lakers again on Sunday, January 13. The puck is scheduled to drop at 2:45 p.m. at the Rushmore Thunder Dome.
