Boys Golf: Brett Mattson Earns Medalist Honors
After finishing a disappointing 12th last year at the Class ‘A’ Boys State Golf Tournament, the Lead-Deadwood golf team entered 2015 with higher expectations.
So far this year, the Golddiggers have been steam rolling over most of the competition thanks to the play of senior Cameron Enright and junior Brett Mattson.
The Golddiggers were back in action Monday against Rapid City Central.
Brett Mattson carded a 40 to help lead the Diggers over the Cobblers, 170-180.
