Box Elder woman sentenced to 46 months in federal prison for meth trafficking conspiracy

RAPID CITY, S.D. — A Box Elder woman has been sentenced to 46 months in federal prison for conspiring to distribute methamphetamine.

32-year-old Ketera Ellen Greaves was sentenced Thursday will have five years of supervised release when she is released from federal prison.

The charges stemmed from incidents that began on an unknown date and continued until about February 2020. On August 8, 2019, a vehicle that was driven by Greaves was stopped and searched by law enforcement for the purposes of transporting methamphetamine.

Inside the vehicle, law enforcement located over 50 grams of actual methamphetamine.

Greaves was immediately turned over to the custody of the U.S. Marshals Service.
