Bond set at $100,000 for one of the suspects involved in Rose Inn shooting

RAPID CITY, S.D. — 38-year-old Gilbert Reyna made his initial appearance in court Wednesday following a shooting incident at the Rose Inn in Rapid City over the weekend.

The incident resulted in the death of 20-year-old Jesus Vance of Rapid City.

Reyna is being charged with two class 3 felonies for aggravated assault and second degree kidnapping both of which have a penalty of 15 years in prison.

He is also facing a class 1 misdemeanor for impersonation to deceive law enforcement.

His bond is set at $100,000 cash as well as a no contact order with 37-year-old Jake Williams who was also taken into custody for the shooting incident.
