Body of woman discovered along river in Pierre
PIERRE, S.D. — Police say the body of a woman has been found along a river in Pierre.
Authorities say dispatchers received a 911 call Monday morning about the body discovered along the Missouri River about 250 yards from the Down’s Marina Peninsula.
The woman has not been identified. No details were released on what may have caused her death.
Authorities say an autopsy will be done in Sioux Falls later this week.
