Body of missing Montana teen found

BILLINGS, Mont. — Big Horn County Sheriff’s Office officials have confirmed that the body of 16-year-old Selena Not Afraid was found Monday morning.

At about 10:30 a.m. a search team with the Department of the Interior found her during a grid search of an area southwest of the rest area along I-90 between Hardin and Billings. Not Afraid originally went missing at the rest area near mile marker 474 on New Year’s Day.

An autopsy will be conducted, but the sheriff’s office does not suspect foul play.
