Body found near intersection of Highway 16 and Wilderness Canyon Road
UPDATE (8:50 p.m): PSCO have identified the body as 24-year-old Dhani I. Aronson of Rapid City and his death has been ruled a homicide.
PENNINGNTON COUNTY, S.D. — The body of a man was found in a ditch near the intersection of Highway 16 and Wilderness Canyon Road Monday morning.
According to the Pennington County Sheriff’s Office, at 7:14 Monday morning, a passerby reported what appeared to be a body lying in the ditch near the Copper Oaks sign.
Investigators say an autopsy is planned and it is being investigated as a suspicious death. This is a joint investigation between the Pennington County Sheriff’s Office and the Rapid City Police Department.
