Black Hills Stock Show hosts first ever Superbowl watch party

Rapid City, SD — The Black Hills Stock Show hosted its first Superbowl party Sunday afternoon. The game was shown at the James Kjerstad Event Center at the Central States Fairgrounds, and was an opportunity for participants to take a load off and enjoy the game. The stock show event was catered by Beau’s Kickstand and Catering and offered a variety of Superbowl favorites. The Stock Show is one of Rapid City’s premier events, and has done an excellent job of connecting business owners with the right audience.

“I think it’s a good business opportunity for everyone that’s involved. Sometimes it can be a little hectic especially around the civic center or here, but other than that i think it’s a very good business opportunity for everyone involved.” said Thomas Hegert of Beau’s Kickstand and Catering.

The day’s events included team roping, the High School Rodeo Showcase, and the Black Hills Angus Association Banquet. Events will continue through Saturday, February 8th.
