Black Hills State University holds fall graduation

SPEARFISH, S.D. — Black Hills State University’s fall class of 2019 held its graduation Saturday in the Donald E. Young Center.

Graduates with high academic honors went through the ceremony first and received stoles to recognize their achievements. With nearly 180 graduates, the class of 2019 was excited to end one chapter and start the next.

“I have attended about 40 graduations at Black Hills State over the years here, counting my own in 1984 and I have never heard a crowd as good as this one.” Said Steve Meeker, the Vice President of University Advancement.

The BHSU class of 2019 joins more than 17,000 university alumni.
