Black Hills State men advance to the Final Four

EVANSVILLE, IN – It’s been an exciting and record setting season for the Black Hills State men’s basketball team.

Not only did the Yellow Jackets win their first RMAC tournament championship, but they qualified for the NCAA Division II Tournament for the first time in school history.

Black Hills State competed in the Elite Eight on Tuesday in Evansville, Indiana.

The Yellow Jackets upset No. 1 Nova Southeastern out of Florida, 77-67.

Joel Scott recorded his 21st double-double of the season, finishing with 25 points and 13 rebounds.

Sindou Cisse totaled 12 points and Adam Moussa added 11 points for BH.

The Yellow Jackets also out-rebounded the Sharks, 55 to 35.

The Yellow Jackets advance to the Final Four where they will face defending national champion Northwest Missouri State on Thursday, March 24 at 2 p.m. MT.
