Black Hills Farmers Market introduces new winter market

RAPID CITY, S.D. – The Black Hills Farmers Market is moving indoors on Saturday, Nov. 2. This Saturday 18 vendors will be participating.

“The winter market will highlight the diversity of products available from our vendors,” said Market Manager Barbara Cromwell. ” Customers will find tomatoes, peppers, apples, cranberries, pumpkins, winter squash, nuts, beets, carrots, and salad greens. Animal products available include chicken, beef, pork, milk cream, and cheese. Jams, jellies, pickles, salsas, barbecue sauce, and nut butters are perfect for shelf staples at home or gifts for friends and family. Often vendors will also have lamb, buffalo, eggs, honey, frozen berries, and mushrooms.”

Black Hills Farmers Market is the perfect place to shop preparing for the holidays.

“Take the stress out of shopping and enjoy the friendly atmosphere and live acoustic music,” said Cromwell

This time of year of year the products at the farmers market shift with the season to include: eggnog, caramel apples, cinnamon rolls, pies, breads, teas, jewelry, and other gift items.

Each Saturday this winter the farmers market will be held at the Event Center at Western Dakota Tech, the market will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
