‘Biker Bob’ stolen for the third time
A display put up years ago to help remind motorcyclists about a dangerous curve on Sheridan Lake Road is missing once again.
Nearby residents say “Biker Bob” has been stolen again. Biker Bob was put on display years ago on Sheridan Lake Road in an effort to slow motorists down, reading “Biker Bob says Ride Safe”.
The woman who owns Biker Bob tells NewsCenter1 the name came from her son’s friend, and the display worked. This is the third time the display has been stolen. Now there is a sign that says “Bring Bob Back”.
The owner says she’s unsure if she will build another Bob.
