Big warmup: A 50° swing in temperatures expected this week

After a snowy and chilly weekend, temperatures are expected to rebound just in time for the weekend

Yes, things will be chilly Monday morning with wind chill factors pushing -35 to -40 in some spots, but relief is on the way.

Temperatures are expected to slowly bounce back through Wednesday, a slight dip on Thursday before bouncing back in the 40s and 50s for the weekend.

February will start on the warmer side, but the future suggests a cold, unsettled pattern will return for the front range. February is generally our coldest month of the year… and there’s still plenty of cold air locked up in Siberia and the Arctic – we’re not done with winter yet.
