Big Brothers Big Sisters Bowling Fundraiser in town for four weekends in a row

RAPID CITY, S.D. – Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Black Hills is hosting its annual bowling fundraiser. Each year it is held at Robbinsdale lanes and hundreds of people attend.

The fundraiser will span over 4 weekends and each week there is a theme. Anyone is welcome to participate and donate to the cause.

The fundraiser kicked off on Friday and the theme was “favorite sports team.” About 60 people came out wearing jerseys. This Saturday the theme is decade day and a few other themes throughout the weeks include Star Wars and Biker Night.

All fundraiser proceeds go towards matching kids with big brothers or sisters, also known as bigs. Bigs mentor their assigned kids, bring them out to fun events, and help teach them leadership skills.
