Biden sprains foot while playing with his dog
(UPDATE: 11/29/20 7 p.m.): President-elect Joe Biden has fractured his right foot and will likely wear a walking boot for several weeks. His doctor says a scan found tiny fractures of two small bones in the middle of Biden’s right foot, but that it appears to be a relatively mild case.
WILMINGTON, Del. — President-elect Joe Biden sprained a foot while playing with one of his dogs, but doctors found “no obvious fracture” while examining him Sunday.
The president-elect’s office says he suffered the injury on Saturday and visited an orthopedist in Newark, Delaware, for an examination Sunday afternoon.
Biden’s doctor, Kevin O’Connor, says Biden sustained a sprain of his right foot and that while initial X-rays are reassuring that there is no obvious fracture, Biden will be receiving a CT scan for further review.
