Basketball: STM girls pull away to beat Belle Fourche

RAPID CITY, S.D. – The South Dakota Prep Media basketball polls were released on Monday and the St. Thomas More girls basketball team is still ranked among the top in Class ‘A’.

Although STM received seven first place votes, the Cavaliers slipped from number one to number two behind Flandreau.

The Cavaliers returned to action on Monday by hosting Belle Fourche.

STM pulled away in the second half to beat the Broncs, 48-24.

The Cavaliers improve to 6-1, while the Broncs fall to 3-4.
