BASKETBALL ROUNDUP: Kenadi Rising scores 14 points to lead Stevens over Washington

RAPID CITY, S.D. – It’s getting down to the end of the high school basketball regular season.

As a matter of fact, the next two weeks are crucial for many teams as they jockey for playoff positions.

The Rapid City Stevens girls basketball team is currently second in the Class ‘AA’ standings.

But a few teams are right on the Raiders heels including Sioux Falls Washington.

The Raiders hosted the Warriors on Friday night and pulled out a three-point victory, 39-36.

Kenadi Rising led Stevens with 14 points followed by Grace Martin with seven points.

Bailee Sobczak and Kyah Watson had six points apiece for the Raiders.

The second-ranked Raiders improve to 15-1 on the season.

Stevens will host Sioux Falls Lincoln on Saturday at 1 p.m.
