RAPID CITY, S.D. – Rapid City Stevens faced a tough girls basketball team from Harrisburg on Saturday.
The Raiders led by one at halftime.
But Harrisburg outscored Stevens 32-16 in the second half and the Tigers defeated the Raiders, 55-40.
Taaliyah Porter led Stevens with 17 points followed by Finley Love with eight points.
The Tigers were led by Hannah Eide with 16 points.
Stevens is now 12-5 on the season.
The Raiders will host Rapid City Central on Thursday, Feb. 16 at 7 p.m.
Boys Basketball
Yankton 74, RC Central 53
Yankton handed the Rapid City Central boys basketball team its sixth straight loss on Saturday, 74-53.
The Cobblers are now 6-11 on the season and are currently 14th in the Class AA standings.
Shun-Zi White Woman and Cameron Steidley led Central with 10 points each.
The Cobblers will travel across town on Friday, Feb. 17 to play the Stevens Raiders at 7 p.m.
