Basketball Recap: RC Central girls remain perfect on the season with win over Douglas

RAPID CITY, S.D. – The Rapid City Central girls basketball team is coming off a big win over the Stevens Raiders this past Saturday.

The Cobblers defeated the Raiders, 43 to 39, and are now ranked fourth in the latest Class ‘AA’ polls.

The Cobblers kept their perfect record intact on Tuesday as they defeated Douglas, 62-39.

Sadie Glade led Central with 18 points followed by Josie Hill with 12 and Aaliyah Jones with 11.

Meanwhile, the Patriots were led by Angell Arredondo and Keana Walton who each finished with 10 points.

Central improves to 4-0 on the season and will travel to Sioux Falls Jefferson on Jan. 7.

The Patriots fall to 1-3 and will host Todd County on Jan. 4.
