Baseball Roundup: Post 320 Stars split doubleheader with Miles City
RAPID CITY, S.D. – Rapid City Post 320 split a doubleheader Saturday against the Outlaw Baseball Club from Miles City, MT.
Miles City won the first game by shutting out the Stars, 2-0.
But then Post 320 bounced back to win the second game, 11-5.
The Stars improve to 5-3 on the season.
Post 320 will wrap up its three-game series with Miles City on Sunday at 3 p.m.
Post 22 sweeps Watertown
Post 22 swept Watertown Post 17 on Saturday at the Black Hills Surgical Ballpark.
The Hardhats jumped out a 5-run lead and held on to beat Watertown in the first game, 8-3.
Zeke Farlee scored three runs for Post 22.
Then in game two, Post 22 scored 11 runs in the 4th inning and dominated Post 17 by a final score of 15-2.
The Hardhats were led by Mars Sailer, Jacob Solano and Jed Jensen who each had 3 RBIs.
Post 22 improves to .500 on the season.
Post 22 will host Watertown on Sunday at 11:30 p.m. and 2 p.m.
