Badlands Sabres fall to Great Falls despite 57 saves from Maxim Currie

RAPID CITY, S.D. – The Badlands Sabres finally returned home on Friday night after three weekends on the road.

The Sabres played host to the Great Falls Americans.

The Sabres just split with the Americans last weekend in Great Falls.

Badlands lost to Great Falls on Friday, 4-2, despite a stellar night from goalkeeper Maxim Currie.

Currie finished with 57 saves.

Meanwhile, Derrick Brown and Denim Young each scored a goal for the Sabres.

The Sabres fall to 8-12-1 on the season, while the Americans improve to 12-9-2-1.

The Badlands Sabres will host Great Falls again on Saturday, Dec. 4 at 7 p.m. at the Roosevelt Park Ice Arena in Rapid City.
