Badlands Sabres earn weekend sweep with win over the Yellowstone Quake

RAPID CITY, S.D. – The Badlands Sabres improved to .500 on the season with a win over the Yellowstone Quake on Saturday, 4-2.

Brady Ridnour scored two goals in the first period to give the Sabres the lead.

However, the Quake tied it up at 2-2 heading into the third period.

The Sabres added two more goals in the third period thanks to Hunter Walla and Zach Vockler.

Brady Devries set aside 27 out of 29 shots for the Sabres.

The Badlands Sabres are now 2-2 on the season.

The Sabres will continue their 8-game homestand as they host the Gillette Wild on Sept. 23-24.

The puck will drop at 7:05 p.m both nights at the Roosevelt Park Ice Arena.
