B9Creations nominated for global award for innovative technology

RAPID CITY, S.D. – In less than six months, Rapid City’s B9Creations dreamed up, designed, and manufactured an innovative tool that is now up for a global award.

The company specializes in 3D printing and creating tools for the medical field, jewelry, and more. Based on customer suggestions they created B9Clean.

3D printing involves several chemicals and dyes and consumers often get messy when removing the newly printed item. The new system cleans the item before it’s taken out of the printer.

“It’s clean and dry so now all of a sudden they’re not dealing with liquid residue on their hands or dripping on their clothes. We’ve made that whole process just much easier and cleaner for them and frankly save some time as well,” said CEO Shon Anderson.

B9Clean was nominated for the TCT post-processing award. TCT is a major company that specializes in innovative technology.

The award ceremony will be held in England in September.
