Missing endangered woman found

UPDATE March 14 Betty Louise Carey has been located and is safe.

Authorities are searching for a 78-year-old woman missing in Rapid City.

A press release from South Dakota Missing and Endangered, Betty Louise Carey last had contact with her family on Sunday, March 10th. Betty has been experiencing health issues, some diminishing mental capacity and may be suicidal. Betty missed an important court date in Adams County, CO on March 11th.

Betty is believed to be driving her 2011 white Chevy Impala, Colorado license: 255TTQ.

Betty’s destination is unknown, but she may be enroute to the Gillette, WY area or possibly Colorado.
