Authorities respond to garage fire in Rapid City
UPDATE: 3:45 p.m. – The Rapid City Police Department and Rapid City Fire Department are now investigating the fire.
They are in the process of asking neighbors and any potential witnesses for information.
In light of this fire, and four grass fires in the past two weeks, authorities are warning the public to be vigilant.
The grass fires were all likely caused by human activity.

UPDATE: 2:45 p.m. – Crews have the garage fire mostly knocked out, but a live power line also fell. Authorities are currently working to deactivate it.
The RCFD says that the structure nearby the garage was threatened as well.
No injuries have been reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation.

RAPID CITY, S.D. – Authorities are responding to a fire at 37 Signal Drive.
The Rapid City Fire Department says a vehicle caught fire in a garage. They say the garage is now fully involved.
Stations 1, 4 and 7 are responding.
