Authorities respond to drive-by shooting at apartments in Rapid City
RAPID CITY, S.D. — A couple reported they heard a gunshot in the area of Haines Avenue and Anamosa Street on Monday evening.
Upon arrival, it was discovered that a single shot was fired into the bedroom of an apartment at the Hainesway Apartments.
Police are currently on the scene and investigating possible leads. They say two people live in the apartment. There were no reported injuries.
The couple who reported hearing the gunshot say they saw a Chevy Tahoe with tinted windows drive away.
