One injured in Rapid City crash

RAPID CITY S.D. – At one person was injured on Tuesday night collision.

Police responded to the incident around 6:00 p.m. on East Highway 44 across from the Loaf N’ Jug. According to the Rapid City Police Department, a Ford F-250 rear-ended a semi trailer.

The driver of the F-250 broke their leg. The driver of the tractor trailer was uninjured. Eastbound traffic was slightly delayed while emergency responders worked the scene.

The Rapid City Police Department, the Rapid City Fire Department, and the South Dakota Highway Patrol all responded to the crash.

The incident is under investigation.
