Arby’s Foundation helping to end childhood hunger

Lunch goers can satisfy their hunger and give back to the community at the same time.

Arby's is hosting their 2015 Arby's Foundation National Restaurant Fundraiser, where guests can donate to end childhood hunger. Money raised will go to the local Backpack program, which provides children of low income families a bag of food to bring home for the weekend. For every dollar donated, the Arby's Foundation provides up to ten meals to children in need.

Arby's in Rapid City is one of the many Arby's restaurants in the region participating. "We do really well here at this location. We've raised, in two weeks, over $500 so far. Our store goal is $2000," says Jennifer Dillion, the General Manager of Arby's on West Main Street.

When guests donate to end childhood hunger, Arby's gives them a coupon for a free small shake or turnover. The fundraiser ends September 13.
