Another year of Family Fun Days at the Tri-State Museum comes to an end

BELLE FOURCHE, S.D. — The Tri-State Museum and Visitor Center in Belle Fourche held its final Family Fun Day of 2020. During December, families learned the history of bells, including Christmas Bells.

They also got the chance to do some bell-related crafts while watching holiday films. The Tri-State Museum believes learning should be as much fun as it is educational.

Kristi Thielen, Director of the Tri-State Museum and Visitor Center, said, “Yes, we learn things and have a good time and learn more about the museum. Because of course we always encourage people after they’ve finished the Family Fun Day crafts to walk around and see other things that we have to offer as well.”

The Tri-State Museum will begin a new year of Family Fun Days starting on the third weekend of January.
