Allied Arts — Art and Wine Walk

Rapid City, SD — Allied Arts hosted the annual Art and Wine Walk, which started at Hay Camp Brewery and went all over Downtown Rapid City. The walk was held at over 12 different venues including Shaviq Studio and Gallery, Tinder Box, Victoria’s Garden, Main Street Square, and Vita Sana Olive Oil Company. It was a self-guided walking tour with wine and spirits…sample sized of course, at every stop. There were also several stops where participants could purchase tickets for upcoming events, a scavenger hunt, and raffles. The Tinder Box even featured the Black Hills band Startz and Endz.

Joleen Zoller, a board member of the Black Hills Dance Theater was present to promote it’s annual The Nutcracker ballet. She says “We are here supporting The Allied Arts, and they support us in turn by donating money to our Black Hills Dance Theater fund, which in turn helps the area kids. They learn professional experiences like professional dance, and they get to do workshops and go to studios outside of the state of South Dakota.

All of the funds went towards the Allied Arts which support the growth of Arts organizations and their audiences.
