Advisories for Wyoming, and snow on the way for Black Hills

SHERIDAN, Wyo. — The National Weather Service has announced a Winter Weather Advisory for far western Sheridan County in Wyoming.

The advisory is set to expire at 6 a.m. Monday, meaning accumulations will continue throughout the night. Snow accumulations of 6-9 inches are possible, with slippery road conditions and 25 mph winds possibly creating patches of blowing snow.

In South Dakota, light snow is expected Sunday night in southern parts of the state, with accumulations of 1-2 inches in the Black Hills and south western counties. Another possible band of snow could bring another 1-2 inches on Monday.
