Active Wyoming COVID-19 cases number surging towards 2000
CHEYENNE, Wyo. — On Sunday, the Wyoming Department of Health reported 194 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the state, bringing it’s total number of cases to 7,673.
In the state, 1,965 cases are considered active. That number is up 137 from yesterday.
The department of health also reported 57 new recoveries, which brings the total number of people who have recovered from the virus at 5,651.
Confirmed cases were reported in the following counties:
- Campbell County- 28 cases
- Weston County – five cases
- Sheridan County – four cases
- Johnson County – one case
No new deaths were reported, leaving the state’s death toll from the virus at 57.
