Active case numbers continue to rise as Wyoming reports 117 new COVID-19 cases
CHEYENNE, Wyo. — On Monday, the Wyoming Department of Health reported 117 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the state as the total number total of cases is nearing 4,900.
The number of active cases in Wyoming has continued to rise as the department of health has reported 100+ new cases in four of the last six days. The number currently stands at 939, up 33 from Sunday.
There were 84 new recoveries reported today, putting the number of people who have recovered from the virus at 3,908.
New confirmed cases were reported in the following counties:
- Campbell County – 13 cases
- Crook County – one case
- Sheridan County – five cases
No new deaths were reported, leaving the state’s death toll at 50.
