A Terry Peak Christmas

LEAD, S.D. – Terry Peak welcomed Santa and Rudolf on Christmas Day. Considering it was a holiday, the ski lodge had quite a bit of traffic.

For some, skiing and snowboarding are a holiday tradition.

“This is just a great way to spend Christmas day. You can get out of the house and get some fresh air,” said Teresa Forbes, a skier at the lodge.

Terry Peak is a popular Christmas ski spot for locals and tourists alike. The terrain isn’t too rough so it’s perfect for beginners and children.

The lodge provides ski and snowboarding classes. They also have a rental house. The house has a variety of winter sports gear and equipment.

Throughout the season, Terry Peak is holding several family-friendly events.

Tickets can be purchased online or directly on sight.
