59th Annual Wreath and Centerpiece Sale held at the Central States Fairgrounds Saturday

RAPID CITY, S.D. — If you need a little more green in your holiday decorations, then the Central States Fairgrounds is the place to be this weekend.

The Rapid City Garden Club will be setup in the Creative Arts Building of the fairgrounds for their 59th Annual Wreath and Centerpiece Sale on Saturday.

The sale is a major fundraiser for the Rapid City Garden Club helping with beautification projects as well as grants and scholarships for horticulture education.

“You’ll find anywhere from a six inch Christmas wreath all the way up to — we actually have a 51 inch across,” said Connie Hobbs, President of the Rapid City Garden Club. “Somebody that has a huge mantel or on the side of a building. It’s one of a kind, this is the first year we ever made one.”

Doors open Saturday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the afternoon.

Visitors are asked to please wear a mask.
