52 new Wyoming COVID-19 cases, 25 deaths reported Tuesday

CHEYENNE, Wyo. — On Tuesday, the Wyoming Department of Health reported 25 deaths from the coronavirus.

Six deaths were reported in Natrona County, four each in Campbell and Laramie Counties, two in Fremont, Park, and Sweetwater Counties, and one each in Big Horn, Carbon, Platte, Sheridan, and Teton Counties. The states death toll now stands at 596 since the pandemic began.

52 new COVID-19 cases were confirmed, bringing the total number of cases in the state to 43,651.

976 cases are considered active in the state, a decrease of 177 since Monday.

An additional 204 people have recovered from the virus. The total number of recoveries is now 42,079.
